How it works

1. Hold $takefomo

Buy any amount of $takefomo on fomo. Holding it is what lets you post theses on its page, and you can post as many as you like afterwards without buying again.

2. Describe your token in a thesis

Write it the way you would tell a friend. The assistant reads the thesis and picks out the name, the ticker and the description:

• Ticker: 2–10 letters or digits. One that already exists here is rejected.
• Name: up to 32 characters.
• Description: your words, kept short. Ordinary theses about price or markets are ignored.

3. Create it

Come to the home page, enter your fomo handle and press check. We read your theses, create the token on Robinhood Chain and list it here within seconds. Theses that reach fomo's public feed are picked up automatically; the handle check works for everyone.

Your token

• Logo: your fomo avatar. Creator: your fomo handle, shown on the card and the token page.
• The token page keeps your original thesis as the token's story, and links back to it from on-chain metadata.
• It is tradeable on fomo right away — search the ticker or open the link from the token page.
• A 1% platform fee on trades funds the treasury that pays for every creation.

Our reply

We answer every creation on the $takefomo page with a thesis from @Take_FM that names your handle, the ticker and the contract address. The same text is shown on your token page.

Limits

• One token per thesis. To change something, post a new thesis.
• Duplicate tickers are rejected.
• A handle can be checked once per minute.
